The retractable dock shelter is extremely robust and durable, with its galvanized steel frame and cantilever arms ithe retractable dock shelter has been designed to compress in the event of accidental impact. The front and head curtains are manufactured using nylon reinforced PVC with the option of a parking guide to aid vehicle alignment onto the loading bay. The front and head curtain of the retractable dock shelter are flashed with aluminium and the roof and sides are completed in a heavy duty, waterproof PVC. The retractable dock shelter can suit a wide range of applications but the retractable dock shelter is best suited to ambient Warehouses where temperature control is not paramount and there is wide range of vehicle types.

The Dock Cushion Seal

The Dock Technik dock cushion seal is capable of providing an extremely impressive seal when tailored perfectly to the vehicles on site. The dock cushion seal has a foam filled PVC case with timber backing and when a vehicle reverses onto the bay it impacts the dock cushion seal and the internal foam compresses to form a seal around the vehicle. The external face of the dock cushion seal is designed with wear pleats for added protection and a parking guide to aid vehicle alignment on the bay. Our dock cushion seal is best suited to a site with a dedicated fleet with similar sized vehicles, but it can be supplied with an adjustable head cushion for different height vehicles. The dock cushion seal also harbours high quality thermal properties making it suitable for temperature critical warehouses.

The Inflatable Dock Shelter

The Dock Technik inflatable dock shelter is unparalleled for its seal and has become the standard dock shelter for food manufacturers and cold stores. The inflatable shelter has an insulated frame design with mounted airbags that inflate around the vehicle to make a tight and effective seal. When the motor is activated the three airbags inflate onto the sides and roof of the vehicle to help maintain internal climate whilst loading/unloading. The inflatable airbags within the inflatable dock shelter are manufactured using a tear resistant, nylon reinforced fabric and are inflated with a three-phase fan. Our fans are designed for high volume, low pressure airflow to ensure the airbag provides almost the best seal possible around the vehicle. With insulation properties being at the core of its design the inflatable dock shelter is ideal for food processing facilities and temperature critical warehouses and can help reach compliance with audits in these industries.
